Important Sale Info:

Almost everything in the shop will be on sale. Items that are excluded from the sale will be clearly marked. Though they are excluded, our consignment items are made by people local to the shop that we know and love, so we hope you’ll support them in their fiber dreams anyways!

As always, patterns ARE included, and any drop ship orders for Berroco ARE included as well. This is a great time to plan larger projects, or a bunch of smaller ones! Anything you see through Berroco.com is available to drop ship, including their sister brands (Amano, Lang, Lopi, West Yorkshire Spinners, & Wool Addicts) and shipping is a flat $8 (shipping will not be discounted).

What else should I know?

We have freshly restocked a lot of our yarns just for you, so this is the perfect time to pick up sweater or blanket quantities at a great price. Again, don’t forget about Berroco’s Drop Ship program!

Get to planning those upcoming projects! Be sure to have your patterns printed or pattern information quickly available on your phone or tablet so we can easily help you find the perfect yarn for your project.

As is usual during sale time, we will not have time to help you with any projects you may be stuck on. Feel free to stop in the following week and we’ll be more than happy to help you and see your face again!

Winding service will not be available during the sale. You’re welcome to bring back your yarn after the sale is over and we can wind up some skeins for you, or you may leave your yarn here to be wound and picked up at a later date.

There will be no holds allowed before and during the sale, and all items are sold on a first come, first served basis. The best way to make sure you get the yarn you’ve been craving is to come as early as you can, which also means you’ll save more!

And now, inspiration!

As always, this is my favorite part of every year, a nice round up of patterns we love and hope you’ll love too!

Go Go Dynamo by Stephen West

© Stephen West

We love a good Stephen West shawl, no matter how long they may take to make! Go Go Dynamo was his mystery knitalong this year, and we’ve absolutely loved the finished projects we’ve seen. There’s a lot of potential for color play, especially if you have a decent sized stash of fingering weight leftovers. You’ll need approximately 786yds of each color, or 786yds of your main color and a mishmash of scraps for the rest. Go Go and have fun with this one!

Snowy Wheat Puff Crochet Hat by Briana K

© Briana K Designs

We are huge fans of two things here at the shop: crochet and hats! The Snowy Wheat Puff Crochet Hat is a quick and easy way to beat those winter blues and comes in sizes for the whole family. You’ll need approximately 260/195yds (with foldable brim/without) of sport, DK, or worsted weight yarn (your choice for stitch density) for an adult medium hat. We recommend Frog It! Yarns DK or worsted for this gorgeous hat.

Alex Hood by Pernille Larsen

Looking to make something classic, elegant, and warm? The Alex Hood is the project for you! Wrap yourself up with the built-in scarf on this hood for extra warmth, and pop the hood up or down with ease. You’ll need around 700yds each of a fingering and lace weight fluffy yarn, or around 700yds of a DK weight yarn to make this project.

The World’s Simplest Mittens by Tin Can Knits

© Tin Can Knits

Make mittens for the whole family with The World’s Simplest Mittens pattern from beloved Tin Can Knits. These mittens can be made in a choose your own adventure style: choose whatever yarn you want (fingering, DK, worsted, chunky) and this pattern will make it work! Sizes range from toddler to adult large. For a super fast pair of mittens, we recommend Plymouth Hearty Homestead Tweed.

Chocolette by Elena Fedotova

© Elena Fedotova

Elena Fedotova is a master of gorgeous crocheted goodies, and the Chocolette shawl is no exception. This pattern is a fun mix of chains and single crochets combined to create a stunning texture and eye catching pattern. Grab 670 or 1005yds of sport weight yarn to make the small or large size of this shawl. We recommend Malabrigo Arroyo (as does the designer!).

I Walk the Line by Shuyi Wu

There’s nothing better than a cozy pair of hand knit socks, and I Walk the Line is a perfect mix of fun pattern and easy knitting. Grab two contrasting skeins of fingering weight yarn and you can whip up two pairs of these socks to add to your collection, or share a pair with a friend! We recommend mixing it up with a solid and a variegated, or a solid and a striping yarn.

We hope you’re feeling inspired! Nab some yarns for one of these projects, or bring along your favorite patterns and we’ll help you find the perfect yarn. We can’t wait to see you bright and early Friday morning!
