Shop Closure 12/12-1/4

Effective Saturday, December 12th, the shop will be closed through Monday, January 4th. We plan at this time to reopen on Tuesday, January 5th with our adjusted shop hours.

We have not made this decision lightly. It is a tough call as we are technically able to be open. However, I personally find it more important to help protect all of you as customers and our community as a whole during this spike in COVID-19 cases than simply sit back and profit. It is important for us each to do our own part in order to be able to come together again sooner rather than later. We also realize that most of you who have planned to create things for your loved ones have most likely already purchased your supplies as Hanukkah is already upon us and Christmas is right around the corner.

One group that would possibly get the shaft in all of this is those of you looking to purchase gift cards. In order to help you with those last minute gifts, we’ve gone ahead and set up the ability for you to purchase eGift Cards for your loved ones. Simply follow this link to make your purchase (you can also choose the Gift Card tab at the top of the page). These gift cards never expire and will still be greatly appreciated by whatever lucky soul finds one in their stocking.

We will also be looking into setting up online sales. This is something that will take some time, if we’re even able to do it at all. One thing many yarn shoppers may not realize is that we as brick and mortar stores require separate contracts with each yarn distributor to sell their yarns online, so we will need to seek permission from each one before we can sell you anything. You’re likely to see consignment items, like Fiberrarium yarns and roving and L. Wilt Designs project bags, before anything else. We will be offering delivery within a 10 mile radius of the shop, and will offer shipping for anything outside that radius at variable rates. Again, all that said, we may not be able to do this at all, and we will be sure to make a post should everything work out.

We will survive this! Thank you all for your support up to this point, and your continued support going forward. You are the reason we are here, and we can’t wait to see you again in the (hopefully) healthier New Year.
